When I arrived in the area as Pastor, I was quickly introduced to the phrase “watch for deer” as I would get into a car and drive. I quickly learned that in this area “watch for deer” is another way of saying “we love you, drive safe”.

Since we are three catholic communities, “watch4deercatholic” seemed corny, a little silly, but appropriate!

The parishes of St. Joseph in Lucinda, St. Mary in Crown, and St. Michael in Fryburg are Catholic communities that love God and love people (Mark 12:30-31).
